Voluntary patrols start at Mangawhai Heads Beach on 26 October 2024 until Easter Monday, 21 April 2025 on weekends and public holidays.

Observational Patrols: 26 October to 24 November 2024 from 11.00am to 4.00pm                                                                                                          Voluntary Patrols: 30 November 2024 to 23 February 2025 from 11.00am to 5.00pm                                                                                                        Voluntary Patrols: 1 March to 21 April 2025 from 11.00am to 4.00pm                                                                                                      

The Paid Lifeguard Service patrol beaches during the weekdays and public holidays during school holidays. They will be present at Mangawhai from 10.00am - 6.00pm from 16 December 2024 to 14 February 2025
