Junior Surf                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Children under 14 years of age who wish to actively participate in Junior Surf training are welcome to join our Junior Surf Programme.               Age is calculated as at 30 September 2025. 

If you are registering more than two children it may be more cost effective to register using the Family Membership Registration. This is capped at $300 per family                                                                                                                                                                                          

• Sprats: 4 years olds                                                    $110 per child 

• Tadpoles Mini: 5 year olds                                         $110 per child 

• Tadpoles: 6 year olds                                                 $110 per child 

• A Group - Dolphins: 7 year olds                                $130 per child

• A Group - Tiger Sharks: 8 year olds                          $130 per child

• A Group - Orcas: 9 year olds                                     $130 per child

• B Group: 10-11 year olds                                             $130 per child 

• C Group: 12-13 year olds                                            $130 per child 

• Rookie: 13 year olds                                                   $ 50 per child

Rookie (Trainee Lifeguard)  $50                                                                                                                                                                                           The Rookie Lifeguard Programme has been designed to help junior members prepare to be a surf lifeguard.                                                              Open to Junior Surf children who will be 13 years old as at 1 October 2025.             

Skullcap: $25                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Compulsory for all Junior Surf training & competition/carnivals             

High Vis Vest: $25                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Compulsory for all training & competition/carnivals      

Surf Lifeguard Award (Bronze) $75
Anyone 14+ years old who intends to sit the SLSNZ Surf Lifeguard examination to become a lifeguard                 

Lifeguard (Active) $25                                                                                                                                                                                                                A member who is a qualified lifeguard who actively patrols and is involved in Surf Lifesaving through the club                                                         

Patrol Support (Active) $25                                                                                                                                                                                                        A member who has basic lifesaving skills and knowledge and who can assist on patrols. A member who is actively involved in surf lifesaving through the club.
